Noel Has Stuck With DOM Distribution Since One Urgent Event

Noel’s connection to DOM Distribution began out of necessity. "Our mixer of the day that we had here broke down. I heard about DOM having fill-in mixers or emergency mixers. I contacted Pat O’Brien and he helped me out basically overnight with a fill-in mixer," Noel recalls. This swift response was crucial, allowing Noel to continue operations without significant downtime. "But no, very impressed, very, very happy with Dom and Pat. Yeah, just to say thank you for the help especially when the chips were down, when we're broken down, they got us out of a bind."

So, if the staff like it, we're all one happy family," Noel states. Noel and his wife chose their current area in Queensland for its ideal conditions for cattle farming. "My forebears first came to North Queensland, Clontarf and Collinsville, that Northern Area there. We come down to Taylor’s Plains especially for the Brigalow, Bottle Tree, buffalo country, black soil," Noel explains. This choice underscores the deep connection to the land and the importance of having reliable equipment to manage it.

"We progressed to two new feed-out trucks and one of their mixers, we chose to use our old mixer on a new truck. They've always been accommodating and always done their best to help us usually weekends, night times, all the bad times, they've been great to deal with," he shares.
