Eliminate the risk of breakdowns with a new Patz 350 Feed Mixer

Feeding cattle in winter has its own challenges for small feedlot operators without adding equipment breakdowns to the mix.

For producers searching the market for a reasonable second-hand feed mixer, a new Patz 350 vertical mixer is the ideal tool to achieve TMR goals for herds under 1000 head.

With its low maintenance design and mixing capacity of 11.3 cubic metres, a new Patz 350 vertical mixer is affordable and provides protection against costly breakdowns.

Patz Australia sales manager Jim Ryan said purchasing a new Patz 350 vertical mixer had the added advantage of low maintenance requirements, limiting time-consuming machine downtime.

“So many producers are now looking towards a new Patz 350, as opposed to buying a second-hand mixer, because they are reasonably-priced, reliable and really low maintenance,” Mr Ryan said.

“With the 350, all the feedlot operator needs to think about is the nutritional components of their ration – the Patz takes care of the rest.

“A new Patz 350 really is the perfect solution for small-scale feedlot and dairy operations – its superior speed and low maintenance design make this machine second-to-none,” he said.

“Patz mixers are designed right in the centre of cattle country USA, so the construction of their feedlot machinery really takes into consideration modern TMR requirements.”

Mr Ryan said the Patz 350 single screw vertical mixer comes standard with 36-inch elevator or an optional three-metre elevator allowing for discharge into self-feeders.

Discharge doors can be customised to the front, rear, left or right of the mixer.

Designed to handle a wider variety of TMR ingredients, Patz feed mixers are available in single, twin and triple auger configurations and can be customised to suit any feedlot operation, regardless of size or feed requirements.

Options are available for fixed units, truck-mount units or tractor hauled in a variety of mixing capacities and customised discharge options.

Patz vertical mixers are designed and manufactured in the heart of dairy country, Wisconsin, USA, and imported by DOM Distribution at Dalby in Queensland.
